This recipe is easy to make, tastes great
and is an excellent source of protein. |
1 lb. sirloin, very thin strips
2oz canola oil
4 TB chopped garlic
2 TB sugar
1TB. soy sauce
1 TB cornstarch
1 TB powdered ginger
1 ˝ tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
Garnish
1 stalk green onion, just the green stem chopped coarse
Set up:
In large container or bowl, mix cornstarch and soy sauce with fork until
blended, add oil and other spices, toss meat in mixture. Cover and
refrigerate one hour. Chop green onion stem.
Prepare potatoes to coincide with meal. Meal time is 6-10 minutes.
On medium, high heat, sauté mixture in a large frying pan or
wok, stirring constantly for 3 minutes, add green onion, continue to stir
for 3+ minutes, until meat is light brown
Plate with potatoes and
choice of vegetable to serve.
